What Our Staff Say
Victoria Evans

“The whole firm is like a big family.”
My name is Victoria Evans and I lead the Corporate Recovery team, which deals with individuals and companies in financial difficulty including bankruptcies, IVAs, administrations and liquidations. I like the variety of the work and the excitement of the unknown. We have to liaise with creditors very quickly and also work with the employees and the directors.
We have two Insolvency Practitioners who are supported by an experienced team. I enjoy working in a team like this; in fact the whole firm is like a big family.
I started training with the firm in 1999 and found them to be really supportive. They understand that you need to study as well as work, and there is always someone to ask for help. They also give you the opportunity to try out different areas. I began in the Audit and Assurance team before I moved into the world of insolvency and corporate recovery.
Nicola Barron

“People can’t do enough to help.”
My name is Nicola Baron and I am a trainee in the Audit and Assurance team currently studying towards an ACCA qualification. My training contract allows me to take time off to study for my exams.
I chose Heathcote & Coleman because at my interview everyone seemed to be happy and friendly. That has proved to be the case since people can’t do enough to help. Obviously I began doing at quite junior work, but as you progress through your exams you are given more responsibility to do more challenging and advanced work.
