Our heritage dates back to 1876 when F J Heathcote founded the firm. Our name hasn’t altered since the formation of the partnership in 1882 and, although our business continues to change and develop, our focus and ethos remains on being the best independent accountants in Birmingham.

We do not promote “off
the shelf” “one size fits all”
products. We recognise that you probably don’t
need all of our services and you certainly don’t
want a “standard” Product.
Other people may wish to make clients fit their offering – we’re happy to follow a client centred route.
Nor are we interested in hard sell quick turnover business. We look for a long-term relationship with our clients in which our experience, technical skills, resources and contacts can help contribute in to the development and success of their businesses.
Our services have been developed to be effective to meet the demands of the modern business world without sacrificing the values and integrity gained from a century of experience. With 6 partners and over 50 staff we are able to support all of the major specialisms needed to deliver our client focussed service without sacrificing personal attention. From the outset, our clients are allocated a partner and manager team who co-ordinate all of our work for them and are accessible and approachable at all times.
